Answers:
Q: How often do you need to descaile your machine.
A: It is brand recommended you should do this every 3-4 months on average. This depends on water hardness and usage. The hard water areas will need more regular maintenance and soft water area will need less. The more you use your machine the more you will need to maintain it. If you don't use your machine much you will probably not need to maintain it very often. If your machine becomes blocked or stops producing water then it probably needs a clean. You can also try the unblocking pin found behind the water tank or comes free with every old descaleing kit set. Just insert the pin into the needle head inside the machine that punctures the pods. Make sure you run through some water after to remove dirt and clear the blockage before use.
Q: How do you clean your machine.
A: To clean your machine you simply just unplug it first and leave for a few minutes to discharge electricity. Simply use a damp cloth to wipe over your machine and inside carefully avoiding the needle head. If you want you can use mild wipes or soapy disinfectant water to damp the cloth to help kill and stop the build up of bacteria on the machine. If the cable becomes dirty careful wipe and avoid the plug and allow to dry before trying to plug in. Make sure to remove the pod holder and drip tray to be cleaned in hot soapy water or mild cleaning solution depending on how dirty they are. The tray and holder should be removed emptied and cleaned after every use. Always dispose of used pods as they can sit inside the machine and go bad. If any parts get wet or damaged or the cable is worn unplug and discontinue use immediately. Seek professional advice before using again. To clean the inside of the machine please see how to descale your machine.
